Quote from Nath on 10/07/09 at 10:03:16:To DwayneDibley - yeah, murali is a genius. A genius at bluffing parochial, biased stooges like you.
Does murali 'bowl' with a brace on during games? If not then how the hell does this footage prove anything?!
Your argument seems to be that murali can turn the ball with a brace on therefore he doesn't chuck during games. Anyone who views the game with two eyes rather than one can see the massive logic flaws in that!
I would guess that a lot of your anger, bitterness and jealousy stems from the lack of respect murali receives from much of the cricket world, so you try to address that by calling champions like Warne and Gilchrist 'idiots', just because they have a different opinion to you. Again, a more balanced person would note the irony and lack of logic in that approach but, not suprisingly, it seems to go straight over your head. That's cool though, keep spending your life venting and dishing out petty (irrelevant) little comments on an internet forum, I guess the idiots from Australia will just have to be content with winning major tournaments instead.
And Jayantha's statement that 'I think if Murali were English or Australian, he would be treated with more respect.' is totally incorrect. If he was Australian he would have been weeded out at club or at least state level, and never been allowed to represent Australia until/unless he bowled legally.
As usual though guys, thanks for the laughs!
Hi Nath thanks for your post.
But but what you think does not matter at all, as Murali's action has been been accepted by the world governing body and all his records are valid whether you like it or not.
If you, Adam Gilchrist or anyone else still have a problem with Murali's action, do not just sit there, please take it up with the world governing body. In my view anger, bitterness and jealousy stems from those who cannot accept the ruling of the world governing body of cricket.
By the way Murali bowling with the Arm brace does prove something. It proves that the doosra can be bowled legally. There was a school of thought that doosra could be never be bowled legally.
cheers mate
