I thought of refreshing the memories of some of the members by going back to SL's tour of the West Indies & some of the comments made in regards to the form & performance of the WI team. I would love to go back and search for some of those comments but unfortunately I dont have the time to do it.
Anyway a lot was said about our performance against a so called "very weak" West Indies side but that same " very weak" WI side is giving a hard time to the almighty aussies, if anybody is keen to take a look at the scorecard of the 1st test being played in Jamaica. There are also playing without their injured captain Chris Gayle as well as the suspended Marlon Samuel. They have fought back from difficult situations a couple of times in this test match showing that they are not pushovers any more. They might still lose this test match as well as the remaining 2 tests but they have showed us that they are a force to be reckoned with, specially in their home turf. I maintained that position right through out and is pleased that my opinion has proved to be correct.

.
I thought we did well to win a test match in the WI for the first time and played well with a somewhat of an inexperienced side in the ODI series.
Cheers!!
